This Thursday, I drive out of CA for WA.
Many of the regulars know me since I've been posting here for almost a year now, but the move is FINALLY happening. I'm pretty nervous. I haven't done nearly as much packing as I should have and I'm taking a risk doing this since I'm quitting a decent job but it's so expensive down here. I hope I'm making the right decision and not a huge mistake! Everything sounds good on paper though...so not much more to do than get on my feet and go.

Living in Lynnwood, and I'm coming up to live with a friend for free so that I can find a job! Everyone wants an in-person interview and I can't afford to fly back and forth. |

You'll be really close to Bothell! That's where my husband goes a couple of times a month. He goes to visit his dad, who is a retired Seattle firefighter at the glorious age of 90! And still has all his faculties! A real sweetie!
Please let us know how you're doing.. If you need any information, just ask. My husband grew up in Bothell, and he knows that area (Bothell/Lynnwood) very, very well. He also may be able to give you ideas about where to look for a job. Let us know.

I actually ended up leaving on Friday at 1:00 P.M. from California and drove straight through to Seattle arriving at 6:00 A.M. I'm exhausted and just woke up from sleeping and need to find a job A.S.A.P. because I'm broke.

I do data entry and call center stuff. I've passed all my tests with Verizon and should be interviewed soon. I'm hoping to get the job but they are slow and I need to get something else temporarily.
