Default Finally, we're going to Washington!

Hello everyone. I've been a constant plague on some boards here and in the CA Thread, saying that me and my family were coming to WA (the Tri-cities in particular), then I said we're staying in CA, and now here I am again.

However, we are going to move, finally, to Washington. It's been decided.

My two brothers are going to WA in about a week or two to see if the job situation is better than here where we currently live (Riverside, CA). Through research and the help from many of you (thank you, again), I've learned that 'yes', it is.

I wanted to ask, if I may, what parts of WA people think my brothers should go to for work? They're straight out laborers, though one of them has a good deal of Manufacturing experience, in particular Press Operating. He can also work at a group home (but he wouldn't like it)

I'm thinking my brothers should go to Seattle. Perhaps the Tri-cities would be good too.

If all goes well, me and my mother will join up with them in a little bit over a year, after I graduate from college.

Welcome!

As for your brothers, go wherever the jobs are. Supposedly Tri-Cities is doing much better economically than Seattle, so might as well check that out.

Yeah, I'll have them check out the Tri-cities.
I looked at Tacoma too. Even though there are mixed opinions about the place, we've lived in worse places.
