Default Aberdeen area schools??? any information

There is a good possibility that my husband will be taking a position in the Aberdeen area. We have 3 children, 2 in H.S. both w/ learning disabilities and 1 in middle school who is an accel student.
Our children's education needs are a huge factor in this decision for us. If anyone has any information on special needs classes and accel classes,it would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks, Paul and Jackie

Aberdeen schools are above average, but not great. (Stay away from South Aberdeen) Aberdeen schools are getting better (and better funded) every year. Most all of the schools are new or recently remodeled. Hoquiam's schools are worse. Ocean Shores has good schools. The best schools are in Montesano. I don't know much about the accelerated or special needs programs in the area, but the early childhood programs are excellent in Aberdeen. If school quality is your top priority, Montesano is the place you'll want to be, followed by Ocean Shores and Aberdeen.
