Must be major cities, as Melbourne gets hotter than Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, etc. but Adelaide and especially Perth generally reach higher temps. (and that's just Australian cities). Strange list indeed.
Although at the same time it gets more than a little tiresome when many on here make Melbourne out to be some 60 degree latitude North Atlantic maritime climate with constant rain and cloud cover.
