I can tell quite a difference between 68 and 61, but for me it doesn't get truly pleasant until the dew point gets down into the 50s, which is extremely rare during summer. A dew point of 50s or less is exceptional to me, and something I usually don't experience until winter. Also, if dew points were normally that low here in summer, I probably wouldn't even want to move so badly.

Relating more to some of the other comments on this page, I've lived in the same town my entire life, and I've seen the temperature drop as low as -14°F and go as high as 110-112°F. We usually top 100°F a few times per year (though we reach high 90s almost weekly it seems), and we'll usually drop below 10°F a couple of times.

You would love Minnesota summers.

Today is what I would call a typical Minnesota summer day.......

sunny, 81
humidity 48%
dewpoint 58

Plus, being farther north, we get much longer daylight hours to enjoy summer weather

current sunrise 5:46
...........sunset 9:04

That does sound pleasant for summer (though I'd still prefer 55 degrees regardless of humidity). If summer was like that here I'd probably never complain. However, I wouldn't like having the sun set so late. One thing I like about winter is less daylight. I know, I'm probably the only person in the world who prefers that!

That makes the two of us.

I love when the days get shorter.

I guess 0 or 100 are two extremes of temperature, without starting another topic i wonder what most peoples comfort zone would be. For me lows of 50ish to highs of 75ish would be ideal..

You're kidding, right? 0F is not suitable for humans to live in. You'd need arctic type clothing just for it to be tolerable. 100F can be almost nice at times - it certainly won't kill you!

Probably the opposite of OP's intention, I picked 100 because it's the middle of the summer and therefore used to it. It was a knee jerk reaction, and I have no doubt that I would've picked 0 if this topic was made in January. Overall, I would rather be in a climate in which 0F is more common than 100F.

I think you might be talking to me.

I never said 0 is suitable for humans. I just said it's gotten a lot colder than 0 (the record low on earth is -128 in Antarctica). I agree 100 is nice, that's why I said I don't find 100 very uncomfortable.
