Same. And then I refresh the page like 70 times and the same thing keeps happening. Annoying as all hell. NBC really ****ed both TWC and WU.

Or even worse, you are under a rain band from a tropical storm, and you get 16 inches in 24 hours, while the official station is not in the rain bands, and the official record shows 4 inches.

Back in the 50s there was talk of using the new radar to calculate actual rainfall, rather than the few official stations, to get a more realistic rain total for regions. Doppler is even better, showing the amounts of rain and allowing a very good idea about rain fall. But as far as I know, it is still just the official stations used.

I dont think NBC owns WU but they have ruined TWC

it has huge memory leaks on Apple Safari for Mac; leaving a forecast window open for over 10+ minutes will often gobble lots of RAM stabling the computer
