I think what R.A.P is doing is showing the "actual" high and low temperature that occured on that date. The "normal" high and low for most locales around MO would probably be somewhere in the lower to middle 70s with a low in the lower 50s (just a guess on my part).

I think maybe even upper 60's for most places north of I-70 this time of year.
Pembroke Pines, FL....about 25 miles NW of Miami. Averages right now are 87/73 and by the end of the month they will be 84/69.
Curious, do you have a "Heat Island" effect there in Pembroke? Does your wintertime nights get substantially cooler due to being further from the coast, and NW of Miami? I wouldn't be surprised if you have seen a few more freezes there than say central Miami around Brownsville, Miami Beach, or even N. Miami?
Here in Portland, the average high and low by Oct. 31st is 79/65.

Yes the Heat Island effect can be quite strong here. On any given night here it can be 10 degrees colder here than in Miami (especially from late fall-early spring). I'd say we average an overnight low below 32 every other year here while in Miami it's probably once every 10 years or so. t becomes even more pronounced as you go into more rural areas of Broward and Palm beach counties along U.S 27. They get freezes every year there.
