Okay- I've been getting criticism for creating weird fictional climates that could NOT exist (I suggest people google the definition of fiction before telling me that I'm ignorant of science) so I decided to make a more realistic one- my ideal, fantasy climate.

It modifies my hometown climate by making the winters 10 degrees colder and bringing 1 or 2 light snow days into the picture. It keeps the summer daytime high temps the same but brings the overnight lows in summer up by about 10 degrees. I find it annoying to have to wear a sweater in summer when partcipating in late night outdoor activities. It also adds rainfall and occasional thunderstorms in summer. I find the endless blue-dome cloudless days with zero humidity and no rainfall from June through September in my hometown to be very boooooring.

January: Average High 48 F Average Low 28 F- Average Rainfall 2 inches. Average Snowfall: 2 inches
April: Average High 62 F Average Low 43 F- Average Rainfall 3 inches
July: Average High 82 F Average Low 68 F Average Rainfall 2 inches- 1 or 2 thunderstorms in this month
October: Average High 67 F Average Low 46 F Average Rainfall 2 inches

All time record low is 10 F and all time record high is 104 F
The average lowest temperature for a given year is 18 F and the average highest temperature for a given year is 97 F. Rainfall averages about 24 inches a year and snowfall averages about 5 inches a year. There has only been a true blizzard once in recorded history. Most of the time when it snows, it melts within a day or two so there is no need to shovel it.

It is a town of about 20,000 people located in the foothills of the Central Valley of California It looks the same way the real Central Valley with this one exception: the hills are green all year round rather than turning the ugly brown color that they do in our summer.

Please rate how you would feel about living in this very realistic attempt to modify my own Mediterrean climate to make it more to my liking..

Seems a bit unrealistic that your climate only has four months.

Too lazy to make up stats for all 12 months but based on the averages and records of the 4 key months, one can extrapolate the conditions in the "shoulder season" months.......

Well then this climate gets a D from me, not too bad but the winters are too cold and the summers could be more exciting.

D. Winters are not cold or snowy enough and summers are too wet. The fact that it actually does have seasons though saves it from an F. (Would have given E if available).
