It was blowing over 50mph on the hills around here, thought my bus was going to blow over anyway.
How windy has in been in general these last six months or so compared to normal? I've noticed a real lack of wind down here this winter, but maybe that's just my new location.
This is pretty normal. Apart from a few storms we usually get around October/November, it's not really that windy down here. I think I read somewhere that London only gets about 5 days a year with gale-force winds.
Feels cold today because the high was 17.7C/63.9F yesterday (warmest so far in 2011).
I wonder when we'll hit a 20C (the stats seem to show that we usually get one by sometime in April).
Already 14.6C at 8.50am after an overnight low of 11.9C (virtually the same as it was through yesterday afternoon). Likely to be 22C today with few/no breaks in the cloud. A summer's day in the first week in April.
