I'm surprised how cold it seems to be this year in Ireland -- it's normally supposed to be milder than the UK.
Yeah it might be one of the coldest December's ever if this continues. I hope it does. It's supposed to be cold until Christmas eve, so we mightn't have a white Christmas. Last crimbo it started snowing heavily just before we had dinner so it was awesome sitting down to dinner with it snowing like crazy.
Our climate is usually only a little milder though in winter. Their summers are a bit better, especially in the south east but nothing to write home about. Our last summer was in 2006.
