Since 1961 in my region frost is not registred in June, July and August.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novi_Sad#Climate

The lowest record for June since 1961 is 0,2c , it is posible that frost is registerd even in June in earlier decades.

Your April record low is warmer than I would have expected.

These records are since 1961, earlier has certainly been lower temperature.

Look at this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarajevo#Climate

Sarajevo is located 43*52' N , at 518m above sea level and frost in Sarajevo was registred in every month.

I've never seen place at this latitude and altitude with registred frost in every month.

Even many cities and towns in Scandinavia (which are much northern than Sarajevo) did not have frost in July.

True, that's probably the case if records only go back to 1961. I'm at 41 N and the record low for April is 9 F/-13 C.

That's very impressive. Most places around that latitude and even further north have at least one month without ever having a freeze recorded.

For İzmit,

April record low is -1°C
November record low is -3.4°C

April and November are the latest seasons that have record lows below 0°C.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%B0zmit

From May to October, record lows are above 0°C in İzmit.

Never been below 0°F here.

Record low is 16°F, set in 1913.

Most years don't go below 32°F here

Some people (namely European posters) seem to be getting confused about this thread, and it's understandable. This thread is about the latest sub-zero (<0 F) low (which is -17.8 C) recorded, not sub-zero in C.

Although if you've never recorded sub 0 F temperatures, below 0 C makes sense.

Then only February. Just February. Slightly below 0℉.

February 1929 was too extreme in İzmit, İstanbul and other places in that region.

North-Western Turkey recorded absurd record lows in February 1929.
