London probably had it's last 70F days at the weekend. We won't see them again until March or April.

Same here. Dropped down to 35 F this morning.

I would assume there was a frost on Sunday morning, but I wasn't awake to see it.

North Carolina seems to have the best overall weather on the east coast. A good compromise between not having too much of a long and hot summer while still not having a long cold winter.

I would find coastal North Carolina's summers too long for my liking, but the mountains would probably be more tolerable.

Asheville does sound nice. Our summers with warmer winters. Still about 5° cooler than the coast in the winter, but I suppose highs in the mid to high 40s in the winters isn't really that bad. Much better than low to mid 30s.
