Haha not all brits think 2 C or less and snow/ice is "dangerous". In Buxton 2C is about average anyway in winter.

I'm just learning driving and I even had a driving lesson including 3-point turns on thick ice back in December. Not a prob. And drove on officially the 7th most dangerous road in the UK (yes...) with it covered in frost. Only the soft south can't cope with the driving conditions when it gets cold or icy

Temperatures generally remaining below average to average for the foreseeable future. Weather has been interesting the past few days. 65 F Friday, windstorm Saturday, snowstorm yesterday, below average temperatures, rain/freezing rain later this week. Time to start cherishing these cold days.

Hope it isn't too big of a storm and that it plays itself out before it reaches the plains and midwest!

Storm is coming here soon. Looks like 1.25-1.5 inches of precipitation , mostly in liquid form. It'll be fun to have a rainstorm after a long while.

2.0" of rain forecast for the next week and the snow on the ground is equivalent to 3.0" or so. I wonder what it'll look like in a week.
