The National Weather Service In Billings Has Issued A Winter
Storm Warning For Heavy Snow... Which Is In Effect From 9 PM This
Evening To 6 PM MDT Saturday.

* Impacts: Travel Will Quickly Become Hazardous This Evening As A
Mix Of Rain And Snow Changes To All Snow. Heavy Snow Will
Greatly Reduce Visibilities At Times And Roadways Will Become
Snow-Covered And Slick.

* Timing: A Mix Of Rain And Snow Early This Evening Will Quickly
Change To All Snow By Late Evening. Snow... Heavy At Times... Will
Continue Into Saturday And Taper Off Late In The Day.

* Snow Accumulation: Between 6 To 8 Inches Of Snow... With Locally
Higher Amounts... Will Occur Through Saturday. Around A Foot Of
Snow Is Expected In The Northeast Big Horn Mountains. Snowfall
Rates Could Approach 2 Inches An Hour At Times.

Are you kidding me??? And where pray tell is this one going after it leaves Billings??? Please, please, please south of me this time! I do not need another 8-10" of snow! Spring??? Since the snow, we haven't been out of the 20's daytime, and teens overnight, no melting!

They are predicting a storm for early next week, but claim it will go more towards Milwaukee this time.

The funny thing is, the sun is now as strong as in mid September. And still much of the country is below freezing.

It didn't happen. It stayed warm enough that it simply rained all night. Bright, clear sky's today.

Of course, now it's a mud pit out feeding the horses. Well worth it though, we need the moisture.
