Climate:
Climate statistics for Australian locations

I give it a B, humidity high in summer and minimums above 20C for 4 months straight (Dec- March), but otherwise moderate for most of the year.
Temps equate to:

Min (F) Max (F)
Jan 71 84
Feb 71 83
Mar 69 82
Apr 65 78
May 60 74
Jun 56 70
Jul 54 70
Aug 55 71
Sep 59 75
Oct 62 77
Nov 66 80
Dec 69 82

Sunshine hours are relatively high, esp in late winter and srping.
By comparison, I would rate nearby Mount Tamborine - just inland and 500 metres above sea level an A.
Mt Tamborine is a nearby comparison:

B (-). Marks off for humidity and highish summer rainfall.

B+

Most of the metrics are favourable for me but not a big fan of the humidity (esp. in summer). A pretty good climate overall though.

B+. the winter mins could be a bit lower, but I suppose I could get used to it if I really had to. One of the things I like about the east coast, is the option of heading into the hills for a modified climate. The Gold Coast is good in that regard.

I meant to put an A. All these "rate the climates" are making me dizzy.

Voted "A" but I think "A-" is closer to what I think.

I love the Gold Coast's temperature stability, erring on the warm side.
BOM maps show it's actually a bit sunnier than Brisbane during some mid-summer months.

It loses marks only to potential winter chilly spells lasting weeks
and summer is probably on the tepid side, usually.

Gold Coast's climate is like an island version of St. Augustine, Florida's climate.

Gold Coast is probably similar to Bermuda,
though Bermuda is much further from the equator.

A for me. Summers very nice.. winters are pretty good too. I like the fact that frost and snow are non existent on the Gold Coast

D. It's a bit too humid for me during the warmer months.

I give it an A. Temps and rainfall are great.

I've spent some time there in both summer and winter and didn't find much to complain about. Summer conditions weren't as oppressive as I thought they'd be.

I'm giving it an 'A' grade. One of my favourite holiday spots. Some here have mentioned the humidity as an undesirable feature of the climate, but it's actually quite mild in this respect (average high dewpoints in summer are only about 20 C). They also have a large variety of palms including fruiting coconut palms.
