I give this a C. Basically same as my hometown in Puerto Rico except there is no dry season and winter is a tad bit warmer in Singapore but not by much.

When you start getting around 19° to 0° latitude, the difference more has to do with precipitation than temperature (not including microclimates). Also, sunny weather in the tropics and equatorial regions (except the Horn of Africa and a few other places probably) is actually not truly sunny. You are guaranteed 99% to have clouds in the sky at all times.

Where I live right now is 600 hours sunnier than Singapore, for example. ~2600 annual sunshine hours as opposed to ~2000 for Singapore.

I bet you also like the idea of having the a/c run 24/7 and pay like $600 for your electric bill every month.

Sadly, I can foresee that type of person having the A/C running 24/7. The Brits living in Spain have the A/C running a lot, especially the ones that just recently moved there

I would rather open a window for fresh air than have A/C. I did it all the time when I was living in the South of China and the problem was more with the pollution in the air than the heat and humidity. Everything in my apartment would get dirty.

Same here. I prefer somewhere like halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It's warm in the summer, not hot, and winters are mild. Small diurnal range pretty much though I think Galicia would be nice. It's where half of my ancestry is from, and it has more preferable weather for me Small heater use in winter, and little to no A/C use during the day and light A/C use at night

Z-. The worst possible climate I can imagine. I would rather live in the McMurdo Dry Valleys than in Singapore.

I'll give it a B. Used to live/visit here for a short time, and it's a nice place for visitors, but yeah the weather is a bit too monotonous for my liking. I do enjoy the heat though.

Harsh, intolerant and ignorant. "That type of person" exists and happens to actually enjoy hot weather. And a lot of people in Singapore seldom use AC - neither did I, most of the time, when I was there including in April (the hottest month of the year). Sometimes when it got really warm in the afternoon (35°C) I would turn it on for a couple of hours, or just for a moment before sleeping. And I was totally comfortable like that.

That's because they can't afford to pay the high cost of electricity, especially in poorer countries. Singapore is wealthier than the rest of Southeast Asia but is still a very poor country compared to USA standard. In North America, with the A/C running 12 hours a day, I pay about $1200 on my electric bill every month. Nowhere else in the world can people afford to do that.
