D+...I like the summers, but since there are not four seasons, I really do not like it as a whole.

I don't normally necro old threads but this climate is absolutely awesome and I for some reason never voted on it. Gets an A from me. If I were nitpicky, I'd increase the sunshine to about 2800ish hours and maybe make winters a touch cooler for a bit more seasonality. Still a great climate.

A- or B+, depends on the sunshine (if it's less than 2300 hrs, then A-, otherwise B+). The thing I don't like are summer days, which are slightly too warm, and the summer nights that are much warmer than I like.

If you were to do those tweaks, you basically have my home town's climate

Coolangatta is similar but the rainfall minimum is around early spring rather than early winter as in Durban: http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/averag...w_040717.shtml
