Just wait until Monday.

We're certainly on our way to green and I can't wait, next week seems like it'll much more greener than it is now.

I was in New Jersey in (mid to late) March, so I was in the area between you and lpfan. I noticed some signs of Spring. The weeping willows were green, but those trees are always the first to bloom no matter where you are. Many of the trees were dormant, but some were blooming.

How green is the area now? It sounds like you're not completely green yet.

I have no snow left in my yard, no piles by the end of the driveway, snow free, woohoo! There are still piles down by the lake, in the parking lots but my lawn is snow free (of course, I helped it along by spreading it out, my neighbors still have a few piles left)!

Day Lily plants are up about 2-3", other stuff peeking through, I'm getting excited and anxious!

As I mentioned a few posts back, the ***** willows are pushing new stuff out. Here are some pics. But notice the background, everything is still brown. Although, no snow left on the ground.

A third of the way through April we're well above average in sunshine and currently even above record levels for temperatures, but we're not going to be able to keep this up for the whole month. All or almost all trees in leaf to varying extent.

Noticed a tree outside one of the windows of my home starting to bud. First time. I think most trees will start to bud this week now that we have sustained spring weather. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 80 F.

I love spring: longer days, people out in force, birds chirping, and snowmobiles a sinking...

The correct way to cross overflow...

Found a dirt road closed because it was covered in ice! Lots of icy ponds up in the hills.

April has been running 4.0°C above average to this date (10.5°C vs 6.5°C). It is going to come down a lot in the next couple of weeks however.

A couple of county roads are closed around here because of sink holes. Water draining from farmland into ditches, base around here isn't clay but very sandy easy to wash away.

Unseasonable temps this weekend, storms, later this week back to below normal and the "s" word which I don't want to mention in April!!!
