Default Spring 2011 photo thread AND how is spring progressing in your area?

Thought we could all check in to see how spring is going - the weather pretty much keeping things normal, early, late?
... in terms of trees budding, flowers, grass, etc. Is it going in your area or still waiting? Pics too please if you have any to share.

Things going nicely here in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia thanks to alot of 70s for highs this month.... pretty much right on time if not a little early.

Some pics today taken here in my area of extreme northeast Tennessee (around 1200 ft) where signs if spring abound!

Not for at least another few weeks I could post similar photos. I could post snow photos after tomorrow though.

This first week of spring is anything but. Heavy snow Monday morning dropped a quick couple inches and now we're getting a snowstorm today. Up to ten inches is possible.

After this storm moves through, it looks like it'll be below average.

Spring is progressing nicely. The snow we got last night was less then we got last week.

Well I'm considerably further north than both of you but nothing's stopping spring over here

61F today, 8F above normal and which feels more like a day in the 70s (honestly - I've seen people out sunbathing and having picnics today), and spring currently looks like this: I might add though that I've never seen spring so advanced this early before, though this is my first spring down here. Up north I'm sure the daffodils are in full bloom but otherwise the plants/trees are not as far gone as this until mid-April, likewise I don't remember getting so many warm, sunny afternoons so early either. This is likely to end up quite an average March in terms of temperatures though, so maybe late-March in London is always like this?

Wow, gorgeous pics, thanks for sharing! Snowing/blowing a great deal right now, can't see very far down the street! What a hoot, first days of Spring, wish I had a camera!

Nice photos. Must feel good to moving from North to South England . I've never seen spring start so early myself. Our average daily high is 50F for today so 3F colder than London's. The daffodils are close to bloom along the coast but not inland here.

This Spring isn't that advanced. Late March always seems to have days in the 60s and sunshine.
