This is very comfortable:

maybe a bit on the cool side for perfect comfort, but nothing objectionable and very practical for outdoor activities.

These so-called mild desert climates on the Namibian and Peruvian coastlines are amongst the best and most temperate climates on Earth.
The fact that they are low-lying (sea-level) , and at tropical or subtropical latitudes, demands an A+ rating.
I like Luderitz more than Walvis Bay and Swakopmund as the average minimum temps are slightly lower, ).

I'm glad someone else likes mild desert variants. Antofagasta is not very different, though its 30-year average rainfall is only 1.7mm, not a little higher as shown in this link.

La Serena, Chile is also pretty dry with very moderate temperatures:

The Nullarbor plain in SA/WA is also in the mild desert category, although more prone to severe heat (but it is usually short lasting).
I like Eucla, WA:

Those record highs are remarkable considering the means - but the humidity would be low in such cases.
