By the way, why do you use in "F" instead of "E"? Why do you jump out that letter?
It's supposed to be based on the most common way that school systems assign grades in the US/North America. The grades are A-D, and F, for failing.

Oh, that explains a lot. Here in Brazil we use A, B, C, D, and worst one E.

But they aren't linked with its meaning names.

The posters here all seem quite knowledgeable about weather/climate and I've learned quite a lot from the stats posted for cities and places that are new to me, or I wasn't very aware about before. It makes me think about my own experiences with the climates (although very few) I've encountered and how much out there I haven't.
Well said. Btw, Toronto is a great city and every time I've been there had a great time. Climate there is not as bad as people claim. I've been there in June with great summer weather and February with really cold. The city is so cool and interesting I never noticed the bad weather features. There are many other aspects to whether a locale thrives besides climate. London is amazing and a vibrant, thriving city with what many people would consider a bad climate. Australia on the other hand has only climate going for it. Just kidding.

Being a warm (as opposed to hot) climate lover I tend to give very hot and humid climates grades almost as low as cold climates. Rainfall and sunshine are just as important factors as temperature.

Haha, yes these polls are definitely a waste of time. Yet sadly, i have participated in plenty of them. This is probably an indication that i need to get either a hobby or a girlfriend.

I have a major hobby, a full time job, a kid, a wife, and I STILL manage to waste a lot of time here somehow! I post regularly on three of the C-D forums, and semi-regularly on a couple of other ones. And every once in a while, I'll pop into a forum I don't visit regularly (or even semi-regularly) and read and sometimes even post. There should be a smiley with nerd glasses for me to post here now. LOL!

I have to imagine that this is a common affliction of internet forum posters in general.

LOL! Spending time on the internet used to be even more geeky, say a decade back, right? Before the digital became more of an indispensible part of our lives, especially with the rise of social media and whatnot.

That said, posting in a forum about an obsession like weather is still seen as kind of geeky.

Anyways, back to the topic of weather.
