Hey all,

Here are two very rainy, very cloudy maritime temperate climates. Which would you choose? I pick Kinlochewe due to the milder winters and most likely lower snowfall.

Kinlochewe:

Met Office: Climate averages 1971–2000

Prince Rupert:

Prince Rupert. Kinlochewe is too mild in the winter for me and has lower sunshine hours than Prince Rupert, which is already pretty cloudy.

That's like asking if you want to be hanged or shot! Prince Rupert has more sun and presumably more winter snow to bring a break from the rain, but still I wouldn't want to live there.

Two fine climates, but I'd go with Prince Rupert. Rainier, snowier, and more variable weather.

What a terrible choice to have to make. Sunshine would be the decider in such dreary climates normally, but this time I will choose Kinlochewe, as it is warmer in all months.
