I know it is some peoples dream climate, but for me, it is a big, fat, 200 ft high neon "F".
I have nothing even remotely nice to say about this climate. Actually, thats not true. It would be easy to justify downing a bottle of hard liquor every day with a climate such as this.
I think it's worth mentioning that Whittier is extremely unique in that virtually all its 200-something residents live in a SINGLE BUILDING. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Begich_Towers) That's right, one single building.
So my point is, there's no need to go outside at all for most daily errands and activities. The schools and shops are all in the same building that you live in. No need to worry about rain or snow getting in the way.
That aside, I give this climate a C because of the abundant snowfall and lush vegetation. Downsides are the cloudiness and tepid summers.
Wonderful climate. A Dfc with plenty of moisture so pretty much perfect with its awesome amounts of snow and rain. I like it; it's an A climate at least.
