Was a BEAUTIFUL weekend, highs in the mid 70's, the bluest blue skies, puffy white clouds, gentle breeze. This week looks just as nice.

Man, that's perfect weather. It will be warmer than that here, but in relative terms, about the same difference from our normal highs. Remember, it gets below 75 here in Texas we get to break out our coats!

So far today it hasn't gotten above 63.. I know better than to ever listen to NE meterologists! If they say its gonna be 75 plan for 60.. I love it though, can't complain.. I like knowing I'm wearing a sweater, pants and socks right now with my windows open while everyone else is sweating their bum off.

We are in the St. George, Ut area...our local weather guy stated last night that this summer we had 74 days of 100+ weather...we are actually as hot as Las Vegas and Phoenix and we are a much higher altitude so I don't know whats going on...It's beginning to cool somewhat now, but each summer it's worse...

Wow Dogmom, do you have high humidity where you live or are you in the mountains far enough for it to be semi-arid. Were you consecutive days of 100-plus a record breaker? We've had days that seem unusually hot, but then I check and discover it was even hotter in the 1930s.

Jammie, we are high desert...3,000 ft. I guess you could say its a 'dry heat'. But hot is hot no matter....we do get some of the monsoons that blow up from Arizona then it gets humid and hot, thunderstorms and downpours, flash floods,etc...at least its some excitement.

I don't know about consecutive days...probably pretty close to it, though. Not many days in the 90's. I think the worse for me is it doesnt cool at night enough to even think about popping open a window. Iam grateful for a/c but I am claustrophobic enough to need some fresh air once in a while.

Hopefully the last summer we are here, we are going to try to sell and get out of here...

Where are you moving to? Is it because you don't like the climate or is it for other reasons?

The weekend was cold and yucky, too much daylight hours in the 50's F.

This weekend I discovered that I don't mind 50's F, even high 40's F in the early morning, but if it hasn't past 60 F by 9:00am, 10:00 am or like somedays 11:30am, that "nice nip in the air" gets old fast.

Now we are getting excellent "fall" weather, highs in the 70's F, lows in the 50's F for the next week or so. Perfect weather IMHO because it's too cool to sweat but warm enough we don't have to heat our house.
