Death by Chocolate? Who makes that one? It sounds scrumptious.

Where I live right now at 6:15 p.m., it is 95 degrees with a heat index of 100.

Death by Chocolate is a Kroger brand and it is wonderful if you love chocolate as much as I do!

For the past 2 weeks, high temperatures in Phoenix have been between 107 and 112, which is very unusual because August is supposed to be monsoon season here. Just before this heat wave started, we had a week of high temperatures between 97 and 101. They're also saying that the low preasure, which are the remnants of hurricane Dean that are slowly making their way into Arizona, are supposed to drop temperatures down to the upper 90's starting this weekend!

Please don't hate me , but it's been in the 80's the past few days, with a slight breeze . It feels FANTASTIC!!! WHOOHOO ! But I do feel bad that the weather is so wonderful here, when I see all the terrible flooding in Ohio, Iowa and Minnesota .

I had been thinking about moving elsewheres, but after 2 yrs here (in Boise ID), I'm not certain that many parts of the country can beat our weather . I hope and pray that the weather 'cools down' for ya'll soon though !

I think the Lord heard our prayers, and the last time I checked, temps are supposed to drop down into the upper 90's this weekend! Woo Hoo! break out the sweaters!

Consider yourself lucky Ozark, 101 for the high would actually be a big relief for us here in Phoenix right now!!

August is almost over, so it'll start cooling down gradually, as daylight hours start getting shorter, and October will be here before you know it.

I think at the moment, it's 91 degrees and fairly cloudy out. A few severe storms to the west. They say the heat wave may break by next Saturday. I love hot weather, but 85 degrees sounds really good right about now!

85 F always sounds good to me,

but unfortuneately even in July we need a heat wave to even get that.
