It has been 95-96 in Orlando this week. My mother in SC says it was 104-105 there and my friend's husband who was on a business trip to Georgia said it was 107 there.

In Fort Lauderdale it has been really nice not hot at all. Of course if you go stand in the noon sun it is hot but it is nice in the shade and has been cooling off at night.

According to my wife, we reached 103 degrees last week and with the heat index 113 degrees... Not much of a difference for what I'm experiencing in Lexington Ky, the car was registering 103 degrees on Friday @ 2PM.

Just checked the monthly statistics on the weather channel because I hadn't heard of any place in Florida being that hot recently. The high temps in Naples have ranged from 87 to 94 this month. Perhaps she was talking about the heat index being 105? However, I agree I would much prefer 61 to anything above 85!

It is pretty bad when my family has hotter weather then I do. The only places that is cooler than Florida is Maine and portions of the west coast.

I took a much deserved, 3 day weekend. My car registers the inside and outside temperature. Inside my car, it registered 141 degrees, outside 98 degrees. I have never seen it that hot inside or outside my car. It took almost 10 minutes for the air to kick in.

We had 90's all week in Oak Park, Il, but factor in the humidity, and if felt like 105. Today is currently 85 and feels like 85 with an expect high of 89. Humidity 43%.

Inside the house, it's currently 90 in the kitchen, 85 in the dining room with a steady breeze coming in off the fan. Mom's room is down right chilly at 68 readin of her AC. My room is in the 70's with high humidity and a strong breeze. There's a chance for scattered showers in the bath all day long.
