Laredo of Texas or Longyearbyen of Norway

Laredo: long hot summer and mild winter (subtropical), dry
Longyearbyen: mild summer and long cold winter (polar), somewhat dry but snow sticks for 10 months
Choose a city that makes you happy all year long. In a hypothetical scenario, you will be stuck in the city you choose forever and are not allowed to travel anywhere else.

Longyearbyen. Certainly not ideal, but I would be much more comfortable living there than in Laredo.

Laredo by a light year. Longyearbyen is almost uninhabitable as far as I'm concerned.

You don't have to do anything special to get links to work. Just copy them in. Don't put quotes or tags around them. Or anything else for that matter. Just the links themselves do just fine:

Laredo, Texas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Longyearbyen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

See. C-D will automatically see to it that they work.

Lose the tags. Link ONLY. All by itself. Try it again.

EDIT: Your link showed up in my post in the quote box and I didn't remove the tags. ODD! I wonder why it works for me and not for you?
