I know, I lived in Denver from 1968 (moved there as a teenager) until 2005 (and could live there again if I had to, but the beach suits me now).
I remember 70s weather in Jan/Feb, too. Scattershot weather in Denver is the norm.
I'm probably older than you and prefer things to be a bit more predictable now.
Years of cleaning up branches in April/May and smushy potted plants in Sept/October got the better of me.

I understand. I live in an apartment and will probably always will or condo, so I don't have to mow grass, clean branches, shovel snow other than brush off the snow of my car.

Refreshingly cool this evening with the temperature currently in the low 50s. How could anyone complain about this sort of weather?

Yeah, so far this year, the Northeastern USA had up to 5 different very long cloudy stretches (In February, March, April, May, and Mid to Late September/Earliest October).

I also hope for the most mild/warm days as possible for October to April
.
However, I would not mind if some days got cold in January and with snow then. I actually can enjoy winter at first but I don’t like winter to last too long. Preferably, just a one month and a half long winter. Lol

It was sunny the past 5 days in a row and getting up to the mid 80s today with low humidity which was definitely great timing.

It's been overcast and continuous drizzle here for 5 whole days now.

If I could have 100°F highs and blazing sunshine and 80°F lows instead I'd gladly take it in preference over this garbage.

^^^ The NW/SE split strikes again then, we've had overcast but only 5.5mm of rain all month and none of that in the last few days. Strongest gust we've had has been a blah 38mph, how about you?

2nd week of October and the rampant cold ramping on UK weather forums is in full swing with speculations abound regarding another "record cold winter" and the re-appearance of "northern blocking" and "tentative signs of the jetstream going south". Ha.

And then we'll have the 8th mildest winter on record. That'll shut 'em up.
