Stockholm without a doubt. Cold winters, pleasantly warm summers and plenty of sunshine.

Stockholm is also far more attractive than Toronto.

Toronto's winters are probably more interesting than Stockholm as well, as it looks Toronto would get more snow and bigger snowstorms. Stockholm's winter looks long and dull.
Stockholm got 65 cm / 25.5 inches of snow last winter, at once.

It's actually a tough choice -- Stockholm is a little warmer during winter but Toronto has warmer summers and a little more sunshine annually. I guess I'd go with Toronto due to the fewer rain days, less gloomy winters and warmer summers.

Stockholm's summers are pretty good compared to most places north of the Baltic, but since I like to have a nice, warm-to-hot and sunny summer as a reward after enduring a long, cold winter, I'd pick Toronto for sure.

Toronto is an easy winner. The warmer summers and higher sunshine help offset the winter, when compared to Stockholm.

Toronto (Hotter summers, more precipitation, more sunshine)
Stockholm gets dark early in winter and is mostly cloudy... summers are too light!

Pretty much what I would say.

Toronto is about 16 degrees closer to the equator than Stockholm,
sun feels much stronger, with longer winter days, less gloomy.

Summers are not that light in Stockholm. Today, the sun sets at 10:01 pm. Sunrise was at 03:43 am. That is excellent.
