I give it a D. Winters too long and too cold, summers a bit to cool.

A+ from me, very pleasant climate year round, exactly what I have proposed for an ideal climate. This is where civilization should have started. No wonder why everyone is jealous of the Russians, b/c of the fact that their climate is the best in the world and their work ethics are strongly enhanced by it. If every country in the world had this type of climate, they would all be circling the moon like the Russians.

Maybe the climate is so bad that they are looking to establish a colony on the moon

Good trolling And by the way, Tiksi's population in 1989 = 11,649. Tiksi's population in 2002 (i.e., after the USSR ended and people had the freedom to leave) = 5,873

D (really E). Far too cold, but dryness just saves it from F, along with sunshine that's not abysmal.

F. Wow, that's awful - beyond bitter cold in the winter, and the summer doesn't even get that hot. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

F+. The '+' is because the summers are relatively decent (well above freezing). It would be nice to have 11 hours of sun per day in July with highs in the mid 60s.
It's very continental for being on the coast. Compared to Barrow, AK at nearly the same latitude and also on the coast it has a much greater seasonal range.

If you want to be a successful troll you need to not make it so obvious by making statements like "everyone is jealous of the Russians".

no trolling is involved. I had to deliver an expressive personal opinion, that's how I truly feel, and I've never asked you to agree with me .
