Beijing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cold, sunny winters; warm, sunny shoulder seasons with cool to cold nights; hot, cloudy and humid summers.

I like the year-round appreciable sunshine totals and rapid spring warm up, though winter seems way too cold and summers a little too cloudy.

My only experience of that climate was in May and it was extremely pleasant, ~16°C lows and ~28°C highs with abundant sunshine.

C for me.

C. Partly because of air pollution, and very cold winters.

C. Winters look good, and spring and fall aren't too bad for the most part although I'd prefer cooler, but summer is just too hot. And yes, the pollution looks like it can be insane at times.

Summers too hot and humid. A tad too sunny and I imagine pollution is an issue. Winters are okay.

C-. In addition to the humid summer, the winters aren't very snowy.

C/C+. Overall, I'd prefer something more moderate, with a less drastic difference between summer and winter. On the other hand I like the idea of dry, sunny winters. No idea how bad the pollution problem is.

There are 5 solid months of winter by my estimation, 2 months of shoulder seasons and 5 months of summer.
May and September are the picks.
Sunshine hours total 2700, surpisingly higher than where I live now.
Not a bad climate - B- , but not a great one either.

B-. Great temperature-wise but too much seasonality in precipitation and humidity. The dry and sunny winters are my biggest complaint. Not very snowy and boring.
