And that is highly unusual. They usually see 80f in late May or June. At least that has been the case in the last several years. But they are going back to normal on Monday. Climates like that cannot stay consistently hot in April. We had 80s for almost a week in April 2016. It's hard to forget because it doesn't happen often.
I moved here in June 2016 so I missed that. I came just in time for the worst winter in 120 years lol.
This week proves that people cannot make conclusions based on 5 days. This week Seattle is in the 70s, possible 80 on Thursday while London is struggling to reach 60 and is also on the wet side. The exact opposite of last week. Weather in spring is variable in both places it seems.
I know person from Seattle who has lived in England for 2 years and he said Seattle weather is much better all the time. What do you think about that
London gets more rain in the summer and less in the winter than does Seattle. I was in London for weeks this winter and it was pretty windy, I think windier than Seattle but more sun in the winter....it didn't seem colder except for the wind.
The weather I dislike most is dry and windy. It feels colder than drizzly and calm.
Wind doesn't last long though - the katabatic winds here are normally done by about 9:00am, and the rest of the day is usually very calm.
