A million times yes! July is a bit too hot but the warmer shoulder seasons and winters and everything else are easily worth it
Unlike Duluth, MN Grand Junction, CO is usually protected from the Arctic outbreaks from Canada and also does not get Chinook winds. Duluth never gets Chinook winds and almost always stay very cold in the winter. Summers are very mild and short with temperatures in the 70's.
Duluth sounds even worse than my hometown. Seems like a year long flu if you live there. One of the things I hate about cold climates is that you get sick all the time, especially in the unstable shoulder seasons. When its warm outside I almost never get sick, I could count on one hand the amount of times I got sick in the summer
I live in a humid continental climate with monthly averages about 12-14 degrees higher per month and I'm kind of jealous because I wish where I was living was about 10 degrees cooler. But I think this might be too cold for me... so ideally I'd want a place about 5 degrees warmer each month.
While winter lingers on for too long - summer looks very pleasant. Mid 70s weather for all the summer months instead of yucky 80s/90s is great to me. But I already hate the month of March (my least favorite month by far) and have it still be winter for all that month would feel weird as where I live it would have already warmed up pretty significantly. Sooo B+
I really love the Sept temperature. That's how Sept should be imo but where I live, that's the temp of October. I don't like the November/March cold though.
