What's the warmest place in the world?
This one is for heat lovers, or more specifically, cold lovers. What is the warmest place in the world - not the most scorchingly hot, but the one which is the least likely to get cold, and has the warmest minimums, the warmest nights ?
So far I have found that it is Maldives, with an average low of 25.2°C / 77.4°F on its coolest month.
Among significantly populated cities, it has to be Singapore, with an average low of 23.9°C in January (1982-2008 data), and a record low of 19.4°C.
Even Bangkok, Belem, Ho Chi Minh City, Acapulco or Kinshasa have cooler nights on average, and usually much cooler records low.
What do you think? Do you know any warmer places for either of those categories?

At first thought, I would say Singapore but I have a feeling it's not

Pretty short list -- virtually limited to the equatorial Pacific / Indian Ocean and the warmest parts of the Caribbean.
Possibly Jakarta too: BBC Weather | Jakarta

You could certainly might find your own ""micro-climate"" there!
You may not be alone, as some microbes, known as ""thermophiles"" -which could also describe some individuals on this site - actually thrive in these conditions.

The center of the earth. Pretty hot down there!
Other than that? Probably any low lying islands in the tropics. I see a lot listed already. Honolulu, Hawaii has a record low above 50F. Cooler than some places already mentioned, but still a warm place that never gets cold!

What about Dallol, Ethiopia: Dallol, Ethiopia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Average temperature: 34C
Pretty much one of the only hot climates that rates a solid F from me.
