Thanks to this comment, I knew this would be an F for me before I even looked at the climate data. Although I must admit, I expected even higher daytime highs. But still, definitely an F from me.
In Vancouver and the west coast winter is the worst mold season. Summer dries out considerably, though it's rarely 100% dry in the rainier areas ( i.e. up against the mountains ).
Does Florida actually get blackflies? I thought it was just mosquitos down there.
I wonder if people who complain of Florida mosquitos have visited some of the swampy, northern parts of Canada during blackfly season. Biting insects are far from a tropical problem; in fact the worst I've seen as in PEI, of all places. ( Now, I'll give you that there aren't any bitey things in the cold season, but for a warmth-lover like me, I don't want to go out in that season anyway. )
.
I've had more experience with bugs in cold places, too, but I haven't been in the tropics or subtropics in summer.
Isn't the state bird of Alaska the mosquito?
Speaking of bugs, I opened one of my windows that has no screen thinking all the bugs would gone from all the frosts but I got a big fly in my room. Either flies are hardier than I thought or they hatch super fast.

I've spent time in Florida and Mississippi ( and in the seriously swampy parts, too - we had gators! ) in June, July, and August, and while yes, there were bugs, it was much less bad than the beautiful creekside ( ) location I stayed at one summer in Montana.

Did you spend a lot of time in the everglades, or swampy areas?
Did you spend a lot of time in the everglades, or swampy areas?
Yes! I spent a few days in a house that was bordering the everaglades, on the west side of the Ft. Lauderdale suburbs, and a few weeks in a place in the country near Diamondhead, Mississippi.
I don't know if you've been to southern Mississippi, but in that inland stretch of thirty to forty kilometers back from the Gulf, it's all swamp and woods. The farming areas don't start until aways inland.
