Decent summers with good amount of precipitation. The rest of the year is not very sunny and very dry with boring temperatures...fog must be common then?

I'd give it a D.

Yes especially in the winter, it's like foggy every day.
It's probably one of the most gloomy places in the world. I remember the record is to rain continuously (while not heavily) for 40+ days. But August is quite sunny.

In my climate, I dislike the cold season and really like the warmer season. The summers are hot but usually still pleasant, and the shoulder season months before and after summer are very comfortable. This climate has summers that are too hot and humid and winters that are a bit on the chilly, so only the shoulder season months are ideal. Worse is the sunshine is less than half of where I live. Even much of Scotland is better!

D; very crappy

So where do you live? Mass is supposed to be colder?

A nice thing about Nanchong is that the extreme low temperature is quite 'high'. During 1971-2000, the lowest record is -3.4 C, which is quite mild compared to similar places in east-coast Asia or east-coast north America.

Frost only occurs a few days of a year, and many species of palm tree can survive, if not thrive.

C

Summers are disgusting, but the rest of the year is okay. Low sunshine hours and reasonably cool winters bring the grade up.
