Highest sun angle: 51,4° (down from 54°)
I'm not sensing any darkness yet, it's still light at all hours of the day I'm awake. I think it's in mid-August I really start to get a sense that things are changing. First yellow leaves, lower sunlight, dark foggy nights. For now, it's the warmest time of the year with plenty of light and I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.
noticed that kirunas period with midnight sun has ended. the daylength shortens extremly fast there now.
for kiruna:
daylenght: 22h 00m 28s
daily change: -17m 35s
still a few days or so with midnight sun left in extreme northernmost sweden...
Well the nights here also get darker more and more, the lowest sun altitude at astronomical midnight is already down to 15.8°. Nautical twilight ends before midnight already and starts again about half past three.
