For me i'm just gonna get up at 6am everyday which is 11am here. I would've loved to have gotten up at a normal time but the jetlag killed me last summer.
So after flying and without adjusting your sleep schedule, your wake time will close to most locals? Jetlag doesn't affect me much, especially after a night flight, my sleep schedule is already out of whack even without the time zone shift.

I suppose it doesn't matter much either way - I'm still going to be sleep-deprived once I get there. The key to to fall asleep at dark tomorrow night in Paris, and wake up around dawn, and be rested at that point. I just hope I can grab a couple hours of shut-eye on the plane going over...lol.

I don't see how that'll make it easier - you'll lose the 5 hours going back, and it'll be late in the night before you feel naturally sleepy. Maybe just stay up the whole night and fall asleep the next night when you're really sleepy...lol.

normal what?

I was just amused, that without much time adjustment for wake-up time you'd waking up roughly typical wake-up time once you're in the US.

Lol Owen I cannot atually take you seriously when you said you had jetlag for weeks after only travelling to Florida

I have a very irregular sleeping pattern and I cope fine. My last job meant that some days I would work early mornings and others I would work late evenings until 2am close.

That meant that some days I would not be asleep until 3am or later, waking up around 11:30am and then going to work again at 7pm.

Some days I had to be in for 7am, which meant going to sleep at 12, waking up at 6am. I felt a little tired but it was fine. Nothing to moan about a 5 hour difference LOL.

I also went on holiday to south France two years ago, flight was at 6am in the morning and I got 2 hours sleep. Felt a bit tired that day but just went to bed a little earlier the next day. Nothing to moan about
