Goodbye, middle latitudes! We are driving in the fast lane and aren't looking back. Every day is still 5 min 3 seconds longer than the previous.
Hehe, well said. Strangely though according to timeanddate.com days currently lengthen by 5:17 here and 5:31 in Turku. Must be a different source.

Meanwhile, Longyearbyen gained 28 minutes and 11 seconds today and is fast approaching polar day starting on the 17th. Temperature still remains around -15°C.

On topic:
Sunrise: 6:09
Sunset: 20:35
Day length: 14 h 26 min
Highest sun angle: 40°

Yes, the 5:31 is correct. I lost a zero in my previous post.

60N. Not perhaps that much compared to you, but for example in Boston each day is just 2 min 40 s longer.

We'll just add that to your completely unrealistic, subjective and arbitrary "not that" list.

Previous entries include:
-50°C isn't that cold.
+50°C isn't that hot.
700 sunshine hours isn't that cloudy.
4000 sunshine hours isn't that sunny.

And Northern Ireland just does all that better, especially at higher elevation.

The Arctic circle is gaining 7,5 minutes of daylight a day. I guess their daylight hours aren't that variable.
