Rate the Climate: Port Elizabeth, South Africa
I don't think I've seen this one posted here before...but it is a pretty interesting climate. It's an intermediary between Cape Town's climate and Durban's climate. The nearby city of George is similar but it has colder average lows.

I'll rate this a B-. It's a little boring but very comfortable year round with regular rainfall.

Yes, bland, but pleasant. A- just because I'd enjoy every single month, though I'd miss seasonality.

A-, one of the most stable temperate climates I have seen.
I would suspect the weather station is on some sort of a headland, to make it appear even more oceanic than it already is.

Looks as if it may get close to 2800 hours of sunshine, so an A- for reasonably lowish rainfall as well.

A for me one of the best climates! If sunshine hours is around 3000 would be great.. just don't like the wind so not an A+.

this was more stable:
Rate the Climate: Point Reyes, CA
Port Elizabeth looks very similar to Southern California, except without a dry season. I much prefer Port Elizabeth, though a bit more seasonal range and more rain would make it less dull.

Nice climate. Winter looks really nice, summer a little coolish. I'd say B range.

Very nice stable climate with excellent maximum range throughout the year (not too hot or cold).
If annual sunshine >= 2,800 hours then give an A-. If >= 3,000 hours, an A.
The so called windiness is a light detractor though.
South African climates in general (from what I have seen and experienced) look very attractive.
