Given your averages, I wouldn't consider it a real cooldown for this time of year .

Compared to normal, it certainly isn't a real cool down. Actually, around this time last year we had a stretch of days with highs in the 30s. This time it's only going to fall into the 50s and low 60s. But it's still cool compared to the warmth we've been having, so I'll take it.

Winnipeg I noticed had a mild winter this year too.

High temp today at my house was 20c/68f
again cooler because of Lake Ontario.

Hot spots in Canada today were Halifax and Windsor
both 28c /82f

Amazing, especially for Halifax!
