We've missed out on so much snow today its unfair. The conditions were nearly there. It didn't get above 5c today and its been down near freezing in alot of the showers. The wet bulb and dew points where just too high.

The temperature is again headed towards 70°, which is 20° or so ABOVE normal, continuing the relentless Above and Much Above Average that has been so persistent in The Rockies for years now. Record highs for this time of year are in the high 60s and rarely the low 70s, but this warmth has become quite the norm.
The GFS model run shows not even the slight possibility of precipitation within 1000 miles for the next 10 days. We are now getting into forecast runs deep into November and so far this winter is shaping up to be what it has been for the past few years, warm and dry, and that is not good news.
