2.0°C / 35.6° at 11:46AM.

Freezing rain, windy.

Holy HELL. Outside is horrendous! Rain is freezing onto the ground causing invisible black ice everywhere making it impossible to get around. Apparently cars are skidding off roads at less than walking pace! Also the wind and cold rain combination is deathly, it is the one type of weather I really cannot tolerate. I went into town for 20 minutes and have a splitting earache/headache caused by the windchill. This always happens when I am exposed to wind chill in rainy conditions (not cold), even wearing a thick hat. I think cold rain is the worst type of weather possible in the world. Heating on full now all day long.

I just wish temperatures would get back to normal again for hell's sake, but that's not going to happen at all according to the latest crap-cast. Damn this unholy satanic weather.

HA i forgot about that high pressure sytstem that was non existant this summer.
Would that keep our summers the same temperature i think it would...

I think she lives like right on the West coast, so when a front comes in it just blows straight in and rises the temperature, e.g from 1c to 7c in a matter of an hour, whereas here the temperature may only rise to 3c as we have mountains to our west.
Okay its just that i didn't know the topography in detail - it really makes a difference to the local climate!

Our sea loch is connected to the Firth of Clyde. Big hills behind us to the west, mountains to the north of us on the loch. We are on a coastal road so very low elevation.
