Very mild winter so far for Minneapolis. We had a very dry autumn, which will mean long term damage to lawns. But, if that's the worst of it, we're pretty fortunate.

So, after quite a few days of very high temps, we're having a relief, a very welcome one.
The low for today must have been around 14 C (57 F), and the forecast high is 23 C (73 F), but I doubt we're going to reach that.
After 15 days of HOT 30-37 celsius days and INSANELY HOT 25-30 celsius night, electricity shutdowns (i ve been withouth lights -means no refrigerator, no ventilator, in this INSANE nights- 5 days last week), nights of sleeping with ice on my body (literally), nights of going into the COLD shower 4 or 5 times among the night, nights with no wind, suffocating subway at 50 c in rush hour, and almost-fainting ALL DAY, temperature FINALLY low down!
Now is 20 celsius (yesterday it was 32 celsius, so imagine), sunny, windy, JUST LOVELY!!! Its like i can breathe again after being summerged in a hot ocean withouth taking my head out.
PLEASE HEAT GIVE US A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO, IM HAPPY FOR NOW, BUT AFRAID THAT HELL WILL COME BACK.
HOPEFULLY COOL WEATHER STAYS HERE FOR AT LEAST ONE MORE DAY!
