I've always found late season snow to be quite nice. The white snow coupled with the already high sun make very bright and pleasantly brisk days.
Unfortunately, snow, late or not, is not the major characteristic of our winters.

It depends on the place, as a general rule, I'd say pretty much all the time as I hate winter, though in temperate locations what I hate the most is fall : when temps are cool but not enough for snow, daylight is limited AND, worst of all, decreasing. November is generally my most hated month, along with early January when the Christmas vibe is gone.

In Hong Kong, on the other hand, fall is usually very enjoyable, while late winter and early spring are incredibly grey, so I would say Feb-March, especially that daylight doesn't change much.

In my "A" climates, there are no winters, so this is irrelevant :P

Middle of February as it's been cold for so long. By the end of February, the higher sun makes it feel a bit better.

I'm hoping that the mild November will make this winter feel not so bad. Similar to 2009-2010, which had a very warm early spring as well as late fall.

2-3 cloudy days in a row can be a bit much, but seeing the sun again remedies that. As I like to ski a lot, and some of the best surf, is during winter, I don't really get sick of winter.

With the weather we have been having I could put up with winter all the way thru. Cool and sunny days. The 15 day forecast isn't even half bad considering more than 50% sun, and only a few days below average. I could learn to love winter if this trend continues till the end of Feb. Am sure sooner or later the other shoe is gonna drop and the door to the Arctic will be wide open.

Winter doesn't really come here. I don't have heating in my apartment, I just use a thicker blanket.

What we we do get is the occasional shriveled left-over of the real winter Europe is getting to our north; the kind of thing that troubles the Med come winter and never leaves Britain alone, which is to say tepid, drizzly weather. It usually lasts an hour, then the sun is back.

Back in Victoria, BC, I usually handled fall fairly cheerfully until mid-November, and by March, any day with a high below 12C I took personally.
