Kodiak (Bear) or Caribou?

If it weren't for the short summer days (only 15-16 hours at that latitude) and amount of rainy days during summer season, Caribou's climate would approach perfection... I'd give it a B+

Caribou isn't far from where I live so I'm more familiar with the weather it gets. I pick Caribou because even thougth it's winters are way low and snowy at least it gets a decent summer.

Caribou's winters are much colder than Kodiak's, with less of a chance of snow melting or changing over to rain, and Caribou averages more snow. Kodiak's summers are better, and would be quite pleasant to me, but Caribou's summer temperatures are still acceptable. I pick Caribou, and perhaps Kodiak could be a summer home (if I had enough money of course ).
