Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Talk of a potential storm at the end of the week, but the chance for snow is pretty dim at this point.

A mild, cloudy Christmas, temperatures likely to be in double digits (50's F), what a great way to destroy the soul

Not as good as last year. Partly cloudy, lows in the mid 30s and highs in the mid 40s for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This will surely change significantly, in good or bad.

Christmas day 14-23C/58-74F, mostly sunny
Boxing day 14-23C/58-74F, mostly sunny

departing for Hungary at midnight on Christmas Day, by all forecasts it's going to be sweaty in Melbourne. Heat, humidity and possible storms. Temps are forecast to reach 40C/104F in NW Victoria and towards Adelaide.

Current forecasts say -3C/+5C with sunshine in the town I'm going to be staying at when I arrive on the 26th
