They are all subtropical cities, with not-too-bad summers and relatively mild winters. But each has its own unique features.

Which one do you prefer?

Buenos Aires and Canberra ahead of the others, especially Chengdu. Probably Canberra as the sunniest, BA a close second but require an A/C apartment (SophieLL take note).

Buenos Aires. Best combo of summer and warmer winters.

I'd be putting Canberra last due to its cold year round lows and lower summer temps than the other 3 places. Only Chengdu is colder in winter, and only slightly so.

Canberra. It's the coolest of the four. Nice temps, though I'd like them a bit cooler in the summer, esp. the highs.

Buenos Aires- A nice climate, even if a bit warm at present.

Rome- A drier summer than I like, but pretty good.

Canberra- Nice and sunny. I've spent a bit of time around there. Winter feels chilly a lot of the time. The temps drop quickly.

Chengdu- Cloud City- The summer looks good, but the year is way too cloudy

1. Canberra: Colder climate! i LOVE the 13 celsius low of January!!! (omg if only ba had that!) and winters are not too bad. Wins by far for having perfect summers!!

2.Rome: I put it ahead of Buenos Aires cause summers in Rome are colder, specially the lows. The sunshine hours are great and winters are good.

3. Buenos Aires: waaay too hot in the summer, very uncomfortable. Nice weather the rest of the year, though it can get humid. Perfect sunshine hours.

4. Chengdu: cloudy, very wet, humid, the lows of summers are higher than BA. Worst climate by far.

so, point goes to Canberra.
