both climates need a/c in all months, so therefore are unacceptable. No need to waste time crafting numbers, the best compromise for heat and cold lovers is something similar to San Francisco, or Eureka, CA.

The mild one. Temps are really nice, although a little more sun would be nice. The extreme climate has a bigger diurnal range than I like.

San Francisco is hell for heat lovers. Its only asset is the absence of cold, but it conversely suffers from a great lack of heat.

Both climates need A/C in all months? Do you use A/C when it's 18°C ? No wonder you often complain about your electricity bills

I choose the mild one, looks very pleasant and I love the fact that it's frost-free. The extreme one can get way too cold.

Yes, these are quite Nice. Hate them both, worse than Brest.

I'll go with the "extreme" one.

I'm no good with Celsius and didn't feel like converting all the numbers, but I'm pretty damn sure it's the extreme one that wins for me. (And I do know celsuis enough to see that the mild one has never even gotten to freezing!)
