Yeah that's like hundreds a day or something, lol.

Moderator cut: response to deleted post

I like his posts as a whole. Kaul, although he does troll, contributes a whole lot more than trolling to this forum. He contributes his thoughts on weather, climate, is well-versed in the cold regions, and contributes information regarding his preferences, which often coincide with mine.

What layers? I was just outside at 24F in a t-shirt and jeans thinking how nice it felt. I'll put on a jacket and hat to walk the dog, but that's not exactly bundling up. Most people around here just wear a jacket or sweatshirt down to about 30F, and that seems to be fairly typical for people in colder-weather places. It's people in warm climates that often dress like they're on an Arctic expedition when it gets toward freezing, but so what? They're just not acclimated to those temperatures. I grew up in Texas and know all about heat, but just don't prefer it. No need to make assumptions about people based on their climate preferences.

To answer the thread's question, summer in Phoenix would be worse for me, but I'm not sure I'd want to be in either of those places at any time of year.

Winter in Detroit for sure. Not crazy about winters but easier to take than our 4 1/2 month non-stop 90 degrees at night summers. The "summer syndrome" as I call it is a very deep aversion to sunlight of all kinds, followed by closing of the blinds daily and avoiding all light like vampire people do and living under the A/C vent non-stop till October 15-30 rolls in.
